Chuckles: Mini-Recap
Justin was jetting off to a mini-vacation to the Grand Canyon (Pennsylvania's, that is), so he didn't have time for a full recap. All's he told me (and my grammar teacher is probably rolling over in her grave on that one) was that Team C.H.U.D. won and that Clowns McNutty chose Arrested Development as the theme. I think we had that as a theme a couple of months ago, but Justin didn't know, so we're going with it. Kwichyerbelliaken. Thanks again to Justin for filling in. I'll post wedding pix later.

VFW: Look at My Willy
Sheila of We're Here for the Beer proudly displays her Wooly Willy, while Don is more excited about their third place gift certificate. The B52s led the entire night when they were bushwacked by the Chicks and Dicks and had to settle for second. Trivia @ 8 were fourth, while D&M, who had the night's best fourth round score, came in fifth. Yes We Can!, flush with victory on Tuesday night, had to settle for sixth Wednesday night. The Distinguished Gentlemen (and Amy) are this week's theme pickers. After I turned down their request for unusual sexual positions, the gave me their second choice: the films of Steven Spielberg.
Wishing J a Speedy Recovery!
Former Bube's bartender and fellow trivia host J Stekervetz had a horrible accident on Saturday while attempting a fire-breathing trick. He has second-degree burns on his face and hands and was sent to the burn treatment unit at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. He should hopefully be released in the next couple of days. In the meantime, you can send your well wishes to:J Stekervetz

Bube's: Overripe Olives
The Toxic Olives are seen here with Denisha, celebrating their seven-point victory on this historic election night. This was the first time they had placed first since the Spring (of 2008). They were so excited that they stayed after the show to play "Rhyme or Reason" outside at the Biergarden with Tom of Team Discovery Channel. (Ryan was kind enough to provide a campfire.)

Chuckles: Halloween Lives On
This week's champs Ubersmack transformed itself into Uberskirt and Paul the Trivia Guy in honor of Halloween (that's Paul on the left with the stylish glasses). Of Pixie Stix and Whirlygigs almost caught up to them, but twas not to be. Skirtland took the bronze, followed by a tie between the Twin Roses and the Intoxicated Intellectual (AKA Kristen) for fourth. Clowns McNutty was sixth, which means that seventh-place Team C.H.U.D. gets to pick next week's theme: Billy Joel. Also, please note that Justin will be guest-hosting next week, since I will be in Virginia celebrating my niece Rosalyn's wedding.

VFW: Things That Go Boa In the Night
Dee and Sheila are modeling their prizes from the spooky Trashbag of Deelite on a special night of Halloween Eve's Eve trivia. Room Two changed their name to McCain's Unremarkable Butt and the name change proved lucky since they claimed first place, six points ahead of Chix and Dix. The B52s once again claimed the bronze, followed by the return of Brooks and Dunn and Trivia @ 8. Alice and her crew took sixth, while the Obamacrats got to pick their theme. They're going with Hogan's Heroes.
