It was Jimmy Buffet night at Bube's, and it was an ideal theme for a sweltering night. I dusted off my worst Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops, while the Trashbag featured tropical prizes like dried pineapple and coconut milk (yum!). I also blew my budget and gave away a big bottle of Margarita mix, won by one of the few underage players of the night, Nate of the Nutsacks.The heat must have done wonders for everyone's noggin, since we had the highest scoring night in a looong time. Wahoo (pictured above) had the biggest upset victory since the Giants beat the Patriots (if you can remember back that far), when they came from behind with a perfect last round, scoring a 97. Then they rode off into the sunset, bound for Cleveland. (They only come into town once a year on business, so we'll be looking out for them in 2009.)
