An elaborate ruse had been set so that Audra would not expect the question. I claimed that I was auditioning potential substitute hosts each round and Laura and Jimmy helped out immensely by asking questions on stage. For the final question of the night I asked Deric and Audra's teammate Sue to come on stage, but she pretended that she didn't want to do it, and suggested Deric. I handed him the question sheet and the microphone and he asked a multiple choice question "What is the most important question a man can ask before getting married?" Choice C was "Audra, will you marry me?" He then did the whole dropping-down-on-your-knee-and-popping-out-a-ring thing. She said yes, and the crowd went wild!
