Trish of the Twin Roses told me that Walter Reed Hospital will not accept Christmas cards addressed to "A Recovering Soldier," so I checked it out at Snopes.com and it is unfortunately true:http://www.snopes.com/politics/christmas/soldiercards.asp
The American Red Cross, however, has a similar program for cards for veterans and active soldiers, so please send them to:
