'Tis the Season

It's been a busy couple of weeks, with a bunch of bonus shows sprinkled throughout my regular gigs. The 18th annual Dysfunctional Family Thanksgiving was once again a blast. Quietly Making Noise were excellent lasagna dinner companions. The students of Elizabethtown College (above) had me back for another fun time and I once again had a show at the always enjoyable St. James' Men's Club Christmas party (above above). Thanks, one and all!

VFW: Presidents Day in December

I got to choose tonight's theme, so I went with American presidents, which elicited some graons from the crowd. Turns out they all knew their commanders-in-chief better than they thought, since there were many perfect scores on the picture round. Chicks and Dicks had a great last round and came in forst, followed by Tiger Takes a Beating. There was the world's quickest Jack-off between Trish and Steve, as It's Only a Freaking Game took third and Third Rock fourth (try repeating that). There was tie for fifth between the bribing Foreplayers and the B52s. Theme choice goes to Jack and Coke, and they are picking evergreens.

Bube's: My Old Pal Vlad

Not-so-fond-memories of college parties were brought back by tonight's theme: bottom shelf vodkas. Apparently Quietly Making Noise was also having flashbacks, since they had a nine-point victory over the Toxic Olives. The Sweat on Our Nutscaks is 90 Proof, Wanna Shot? welcomed back Deric to their team and took third. One Ball Paul and the Rhythm Disciples missed second by one question and took fourth. There was a tie between the Tony Danza Slap and Dr. Mantis Toboggan for fifth, while Train Wreck is going with spices as next week's theme. And the Tobogganers will be our 80s mixmasters.
