Tonight's Final Question

Tonight's final question at Bube's was extra special, as Deric asked Audra if she would marry him.

An elaborate ruse had been set so that Audra would not expect the question. I claimed that I was auditioning potential substitute hosts each round and Laura and Jimmy helped out immensely by asking questions on stage. For the final question of the night I asked Deric and Audra's teammate Sue to come on stage, but she pretended that she didn't want to do it, and suggested Deric. I handed him the question sheet and the microphone and he asked a multiple choice question "What is the most important question a man can ask before getting married?" Choice C was "Audra, will you marry me?" He then did the whole dropping-down-on-your-knee-and-popping-out-a-ring thing. She said yes, and the crowd went wild!

I love it when plans work!

Laura of the Toxic Olives was our first faux host and did a fine job with the charade.

Jimmy of Futristic Torso Flow also helped continue the ruse by asking a second round question.

Trivia will NOT be held tonight (Wednesday, Feb. 2nd) at the Lititz VFW.

I think we should all move to Florida.

I just got the word from Sam, the owner of Bube's that trivia will NOT be held tonight (Tuesday, Feb. 1st) at Bube's.

Due to Old Man Winter acting up, there will be no trivia tonight (Wednesday, Jan. 26th) at the VFW.  (They're predicting the bulk of the storm to start around 6 P.M.) Stay warm and see you all next week!
