Sunday afternoon I stopped at Carmen & David's Creamery, a new ice cream shop on Prince Street between Orange and King. (It's diagonally across the street from the Fulton Opera, where the Purple Mug used to be). Their ice cream is fantastic and all made on the premises. I had two scoops of German Chocolate Cake. Looks like a great place to try ~ however I am not a fan of downtown Lancaster and have not been downtown in years!!!!

Speaking as a Lancaster city resident, I have to say you should give downtown another chance. The city has been making great strides the last couple of years and is on an upswing.
