The Foreplayers also did well, despite not knowing Woody Herman from Benny Goodman. They came in fifth and chose geogrpahy as their theme. There was a tie for third, so Nick and Lisa faced the alligator, and much to Nick's delight, she lost. So she picked Vincent Price horror movies as her theme. That meant Mixed Company took third. Room Two's last-minute answer change doomed them to second and The Cunning Linguists, led by Fontmaster Frank, squeaked by them, winning by a pica.
